I think teaching anthropology is critical. It not only teaches students about anthropology, but also the huge array of people, beliefs, behaviors, and cultures around the world. It also helps students learn and practice essential skills that help their learning and capacity now and in the future like critical thinking, note taking, question asking, and source analysis.
